Bookings

Please let us know of any special dietary needs when booking your experience with us.

All experiences, including the cat cafe, must be booked in advance and the balance paid prior to arrival.

If you are unable attend: bookings can be transferable under exceptional circumstances and with prior notice of at least 48 hours. We do not offer refunds.

​Late arrivals: in booking you agree that you will arrive in time for your designated session. Should you arrive after your designated slot you will not be able to participate – you are expected to arrive between 30 minutes and 15 minutes before we are due to start. We do not like to keep our trekking team tied up longer than necessary and will also put the experience behind schedule. If you are late you will not be permitted to join the experience and will not entitle you to a refund.

Gift Vouchers

A gift voucher entitles you to take part in one of our experiences. This must be booked before the expiry date (within 12 months of purchase). We cannot extend or redeem expired vouchers.

Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash and are online only. They cannot be redeemed on site.

Cancellation

24 hours notice for cancellations is required and we will endeavour to rearrange your trekking experience. No refunds are available for cancellations unless in exceptional circumstances.

Alpaca Trekking Cornwall reserve the right to cancel any trek at our discretion to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests. Notification will be given as soon as possible to reschedule the experience.

Weather

We reserve the right to change the advertised trek for the safety and comfort of our customers.

​We do not accept responsibility for any costs or expenses you may incur due to postponement of any trek.

​You should wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear (waterproofs and/or sun protection) You will not be allowed to participate if you are wearing flip flops, sandals or sliders

Health & Safety

Alpaca Trekking with Moor View Alpacas shall not assume liability whatsoever for any loss or damage to personal property. By making a booking with us, you acknowledge and accept that our farm operates as a working farm. Hazards exist, which may not be apparent without instruction. To ensure your safety, kindly follow all health and safety instructions from our staff and observe all signage, including guidelines for interacting with our animals. Additionally, please observe no-entry signage. Failure to comply releases us from liability for any undesired outcomes.

​Medical care is the financial responsibly of the ill/injured person(s).

​By booking a trek we assume you are fit to complete the distance advertised. This will be over uneven or hilly ground, please discuss any issues this may raise when booking.

Please note that there are many horse flies in the fields during the summer season so if you have any allergies please ensure you are adequately protected.

​Your safety and the safety of others is our main concern. You must obey all instructions given at the beginning of the walk.

​We reserve the right to refuse to allow anyone to continue on a trek if they put themselves or others at risk.

​Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. We will use our discretion to decide whether a child is capable of trekking with an alpaca single-handedly.

Pets, including dogs, are not permitted on the trek due to past incidents. We request that if pets must come that they remain in vehicles with windows open for ventilation during the trek. (If weather conditions are appropriate. Please note we do not have much shaded parking)

​Promotional Material

Alpaca Trekking with Moor View Alpacas reserve the right to use all photographs and videos in our promotional material.
